Is it possible that we’re on the cusp of a Frank Capra moment in the great shutdown saga?
Healthcare.gov, a portal for the Web sites of Obamacare’s new health-insurance marketplaces, went live Tuesday morning. By Tuesday afternoon, the Times was reporting that “heavy volume” and “high traffic,” along with the expected technical glitches, were overwhelming the sites all over the country. I just checked our local iteration, nystateofhealth.ny.gov, and was greeted with this bit of good news in bad news’s clothing:
